How DayTona Handles Your Personal Data
A plain-English look at what we collect at registration and during payments, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.
Privacy at DayTona
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This page explains what personal information we gather when you register and play with us, why we gather it, and how you can control it. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions rather than replacing them.
What we collect at registration
When you open a DayTona account we ask for the basics needed to run a real-money site responsibly: your full name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and residential address. We use date of birth specifically to confirm you meet the 18+ minimum age requirement before any deposit or play is allowed. Depending on the checks required for your account, we may also request a copy of a photo ID document and, in some cases, a recent proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement.
What we collect during payments
Every deposit and withdrawal generates its own data trail. For card payments made through Visa or Mastercard we, or our payment processor, hold the card type, last four digits and transaction reference, never the full card number in a form our support staff can read. For bank transfer and Revolut deposits we record the sending account details needed to match your payment and process any refund or withdrawal to the same source.
If you deposit or withdraw using cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether, we record the wallet address you send from and the address we pay out to, along with transaction hashes on the relevant blockchain. Blockchain transactions are, by their nature, visible on public ledgers. We do not control that visibility, but we only use the wallet data we hold to match your deposit to your account, process your withdrawal and meet our own record-keeping obligations.
Why we process this information
- To verify your identity and confirm you are 18 or over
- To process deposits, withdrawals and any bonus credited to your account, subject to T&Cs apply
- To detect and prevent fraud, money laundering and duplicate accounts
- To provide customer support when you contact us about a transaction or your account
- To meet record-keeping obligations tied to gambling operations and financial transactions
How long we keep your data
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active, plus a further period after closure to cover financial reconciliation, dispute windows and fraud investigation. Identity documents submitted for verification are kept only as long as needed for that verification and any related compliance record, then scheduled for deletion. If you ask us to close your account permanently, we will retain the minimum data required by our payment and compliance obligations rather than your full profile.
| Data type | Retention approach |
|---|---|
| Registration details (name, DOB, address) | Kept while account is active plus a compliance window after closure |
| ID documents | Kept only for the verification period, then deleted |
| Payment and wallet transaction records | Kept for financial reconciliation and audit purposes |
| Support tickets and chat logs | Kept to resolve disputes and improve support quality |
Who we share data with
We share data only where it is needed to run your account: payment processors handling card, bank transfer or crypto transactions, identity verification providers, and fraud-prevention services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights over your data
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a correction if something is wrong, and ask us to close your account and delete data we are not legally or contractually required to keep. To make any of these requests, contact our support team through the channel listed on your account dashboard. We aim to confirm receipt of your request promptly and act on it once we have verified your identity, to prevent someone else accessing or changing your data.
Responsible gambling and support
Account data also supports responsible play: deposit limits, time-out requests and self-exclusion instructions you set are stored so we can apply them consistently. If you are concerned about your gambling, GamCare (0808 8020 133, https://www.gamcare.org.uk/) and BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org/) offer free, confidential support. DayTona is for players aged 18 and over.
